After moving from Belgium and seeing shows at least once a month, Gothenburg was a bit of a dissapointment when talking about concerts. Most bands play i Copenhagen, maybe Malmö, then to Stockholm or Oslo but they skip Gothenburg.
I was so trilled seeing that Ólafur was playing in Gothenburg after following him from 2007. There was another band on the bill (Britta Persson) but I supposed they would warm up for Ólafur. Big was my dissapointment that it was the other way around because this resulted in a lot of people hanging at the bar in the back and talking (pretty loud). They destroyed the atmosphere for those who wanted to enjoy this great music which sometimes needs silence. I felt ashamed to be a part of such a disrespectfull crowd.
I don´t regret going to the concert but I hope that there will come a second chance, maybe in a better concerthall and this time not as the opening band.
Wow! My friend took me with him to the concert in Gothenburg. I had no idea who Olafur was or what kind of music he made before I got there.
I can't say I've heard anything like this before, the way he does it melts my heart and all I can feel is a great impact that this kind of music gives me.
